Freelancers do not want accounting software. They want to send an invoice and get paid, and most tools make you set up a company, a chart of accounts and a tax profile before you can do either. InvoiceFlow sends the first invoice with nothing configured, and everything else arrives later if you ever need it. It is not sophisticated engineering and I am not going to dress it up as any. The judgement in it was about what to leave out.
